Letter from the director
Dear delegates,
It is truly an honor to warmly welcome you to the Values and Sciences Model United Nations 2025 (VC MUN 2025). I am excited to share this experience with each of you on the ECOSOC committee, where we will address the important topic of access to health and well-being. My participation in the MUN began in April of this year, during PaduaMUN 2025, and although my journey is still short, it was an experience that deeply shaped my interest in diplomacy, active participation, and cooperation to solve global problems. That experience motivated me to continue preparing myself, and today I have the privilege of assuming this new role as part of the board. I consider myself a committed, enthusiastic person with a great willingness to learn and work as a team.
From this position, I hope not only to guide the debate responsibly, but also to generate a space of trust, respect, and learning for all. I am convinced that this committee will be an enriching experience for both you and me. I wish you much success at this event. Feel free to express your position, debate respectfully, and proudly represent your countries. I'm sure a day full of brilliant ideas and personal growth awaits us.
See you in a few months, with love,
Priscilla García

Letter from the moderator
Dear delegates,
My name is Milagros Sánchez Núñez, and I have the honor of serving as the moderator of this committee during the VC MUN 2025. It is a true privilege for me to extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you, delegates, who have undertaken the commitment to represent with responsibility and dignity the positions assigned to them within the framework of this diplomatic simulation. We are faced with a unique opportunity to engage in dialogue, critical analysis, and the collective construction of solutions to problems of global impact. This committee, as an academic space, will not only allow us to exchange diverse ideas and positions, but also strengthen essential skills such as argumentation, negotiation, respect for differences, and the ability to reach consensus in contexts of pluralism.
I am fully confident that, with your active participation and valuable contributions, we will achieve a dynamic, rigorous, and purposeful debate, in which each intervention represents a key element in building solid and sustainable agreements. I invite you to express yourselves clearly, listen openly, and defend your ideas with respect and conviction. I am sure this experience will be deeply enriching for all.
I wish you every success in the development of the committee and encourage you to make the most of this experience, which will undoubtedly contribute to your personal, academic, and civic growth.
Welcome, and let the work begin!
